The questions we get most often — about the wine, the sound, the shipping, the science.
How does sound actually change the wine?
During secondary fermentation we play your chosen audio through transducers bonded to the steel tank wall. The vibrations agitate the lees and gas exchange just enough to nudge bubble size, mouthfeel, and aromatic release. Same grapes, same yeast, different sound — measurably different bottle.
What audio can I send in?
Anything you have the right to use — a song, a voice memo, a heartbeat, a wedding vow, the hum of your café at noon. Minimum 6 minutes, max 90. We’ll write back if the file needs cleaning up.
How long until my bottle ships?
Custom runs take roughly 8 months end-to-end: 4 weeks of design, 28 days in tank with your sound, then 6 months on lees in bottle. We email at every step and ship inside the EU within 3 days of release.
Where do you ship, and what does it cost?
We ship across the EU, and shipping is included on most editions. Anything outside the EU is quoted at checkout.
Is this a gimmick or is there real science here?
The science is published — see our journal entries linked from each product page. Two peer-reviewed papers from the University of Ljubljana measured CO₂ bubble distribution and aromatic compound release across paired tanks (sound vs. silent control). The differences are small but consistent, and they show up on the palate.
Can I gift a bottle?
Yes. At checkout pick “gift” and we’ll skip the invoice, add a hand-written card, and let you schedule the delivery date. Recipients can also send in their own audio if you’d rather give them the experience than a finished bottle.
